I'm glad to hear you say that about your Wixom Ranger. I've found that
I get head buffeting when I go over 70 mph or so which I did not expect.
I, too, would like to see a picture of John's improvement.

Hi Tom,
I don't have a Windjammer but when I replaced the windshield on my Wixom
Ranger, I mounted in front of it's original position with a 1/4" gap at
the bottom. This along with the 8" tall .090" aluminum flat stock that I
mounted in the windshield's original place directs enough air behind the
windshield in an upword direction to keep the turbulance away from you.
I used wooden blocks as spacers between the 'shield and plate figuring I
could experament with different size blocks if I didn't like the
results. Turned out to work so well as first concieved that I didn't
mess with it. I know this is hard to visualize so if anyone is
interested I'll take a picture and post it.
