Hi Tom,
I had a G5 also with a Vetter on it with the round vents. If by weird
behavior you mean raindrops flying forward after being sucked off off you,
then no the vents don't make a difference. Open or closed, the result was
the same. The Guzzi windshield on my Ambo does the same thing. Cheers,

Charlie

Any thoughts as to whether a vented or non-vented replacement windshield
for a Vetter Windjammer is the better way to go? I find that with the
non-vented windshield on my Ambo there is a big dead spot behind it,
which causes wierd things to happen when riding in the rain. Anybody
tried a vented shield and seen any difference?

OK, I'll be the first to admit that the Vetter is not a loop (thank
God). Loop content: The G-5 that the Vetter is on is parked next to the
Loop.
