hi guys-
dave is right- i need a project, and fortunately have one on the bench, but
i guess the only way it'll happen is to ask for help, here.
firstly, i have a buddy who's been riding as long as i have [32 years],
but is really behind the 8 ball, financially. he's a really great guy, just
can't seem to get it togehter [gee, that sounds familiar!] he currently
rides a clapped out cb750, which has been on it's last legs for a long time.
anyhow, i have a titled ambo frame w/swingarm, an engine [no starter], a
trans., seat, xhaust system, but need everything else. [wheels, frontend,
gastank, reardrive,u-joint, & front fender].
does anyone know of a source for these parts? no, not ebay! i'm GIVING
this stuff to the dude, already. what i need is cheap parts. rusty, dented,
broken, ugly stuff is fine, ok? they might even end up that way, anyhow. i
was sort of thinking that if i built the guy a decent ambo, maybe his
attitude, or expectations of life might improve [hopefully], plus it would
give me something to do. heck, maybe i would stay away from the
beer/computer! [now, That's a great combo!]
thoughts/ideas?????
