Okay I'll throw my two cents in again.....
Mmay be that Tim is correct, we could have an eastern meet in WV which most people east of the Mississippi River could try to make and then the western Loops could pick out a central-western spot to do the same....

Hi All,
Kansas is just about exactly centrally located. How about we all just show up unannounced at Frank Wedge's :-) (head honcho and founder of the MGNOC for those of you who may not know). I only suggested southern WV because I know the roads are fantastic and for the most part lightly traveled, the folks (including most police - there's not many to start with) are friendly, there's plenty of state parks and the scenery is spectacular. There's plenty of other lodging (cabins/motels/B&Bs) and good places to eat. We are talking here about a state that depends on tourism for a large portion of it's revenue.
It sounds like Dave Otis and I are ready to do it this year if it's close enough to us to be feasible. We both work fairly long hours and have lots of projects going besides. If it's farther away than 250 miles from the Hagerstown/Frederick Maryland area, I won't be able to assist. I'd gladly come to someone else's state and relax and enjoy their hard work!
If anyone is interested, I can post some links to info on the area I had in mind. Cheers,
Charlie
