Well, Mike, that's the question. I guess if crummy ground clearance is part of the deal, okay. I just wanted to see if it was me and my Eldo or whether it was common to all. My only disappointment is that it is a very nice handling bike for an old hunk of lead, and can surprise many an unsuspecting modern bike rider, but for the fact that I can scare myself while trying to hotfoot it thru a turn and start grinding metal parts. I've lifted the rear wheel off the ground twice now having to lean it over in a decreasing radius turn. Not fun. Dennis Jones

You are not alone, I cant ride my Ambassador with the centerstand in
place
as it drags way to easily. Without the centerstand, the left side drags
the
sidestand & on the right the exhaust touches down.
