Rick,
I'll throw in a shout for John's decals. I did my Ambo. last spring with the
ones I got from John. After the paint I threw the decals on, then the clear,
sanded with 2000 grit paper, repeated this about 7-9 times and the results
couldn't of been better. The decal is even with the paint and all looks as
one. Turned out excellent. Take care to get all the air bubbles out. I did
this whith a rubber squegie(auto paint store should have 'em).

Kev

I am trying to get my 71 Ambo back together after a paint job. I have a
couple of decal questions. It did not have any decals when I got it. I
have 5 winged Moto Guzzi decals, one slightly smaller than the others. I
can see 2 go on the tank and one on the rear fender. Does one go on the
front fender? What a bout the tool boxes? Doesn't someone on the list
have those available? I have the V750 Ambo ones for the side covers. Any
tips for applying? Thanks for any input. Rick Woods
