Praise the lord, and give them hell, Kev! Yea, If they were to build
them, Aprilia might even make em stop, Sheeeeeez. Can't be hav'n none of
that. Would take all the excitement (pucker factor) out of things. Can you
imagine disk brakes, fuel injection, wide rims, electronic ignition, real
front suspension and maybe even a silky smooth six speed? (well er uh yea,
so can I ;-) ). Would I really sell mine for this retro thingy? Heck no. Not
unless they hired Mr. Etheridge (aka Mark) on board to design and follow
through on the development all the way through. Otherwise some prissy
Aprilia design focus group thingy would come up with some sterile
reincarnation that would fall flat on the market. These days I think I would
rather have a Jackal set up right then a retro Loopframe. But that is IMO
and as always YMMV.
We love them for what they are and if they need some 'personalization'
then we do it. Hey I treated my Ambo's seat to a fresh coat of ArmorAll last
weekend and then took her for a little 75 mile loop. Ran great, still
stopped...........................well it still stopped anyways.

I would feel intruded upon by them releasing a repop loopframe. I've
said it before and I'll say it again, leave the loops to people like
us
who love to ride 'em and keep 'em on the road.
With Respect,
Kev
