Tim,
My 73< Police model has a Tomaselli throttle. The cables point down.
the throttle cables also have metalic cable guides close to the throttle
housing that direct the cables toward the front of the fuel tank. My
throttle is stiff and snaps back quickly. I've been thinking about
reducing the esprings to help. On the open road I usually set the cruise
screw(on the throttle)so I don't have to use constant
pressure on the throttle.

If it is like the tomaselli on my t-3 (probably is) then the cable ports

point down. Guzzis are known for having heavy springs in the carbs.

I am trying to install my new Tomaselli dual cable control, and have two
questions...

How does it sit on the handlebars....does the cable inlet point up or
down.
I have tried both, and am now confused as to the correct way. Down
seems
to
interfere with brake lever, up doesn't look as good having the cables
forming big loops.

Also, there seems to be quite a bit of effort needed to twist the grip,
and
it really snaps back hard. Is this common to Guzzis or is there some
adjustment? My previous experience is limited.

Thanks,
Tim
