Hi guys,
A little advice please. I have a '73 Eldo. Frame and body parts in
excellent shape, engine in a basket. The Speedo says just a little over
28,000 mi. While looking over the engine parts, I noticed a dark blemish
on one of the cylinder walls, maybe about the size of a quarter.
Question: Is this a precurser to lining problems? Will the Chrome
(?) separate? Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated.
By the way, for those interested, I'm building a steel lift from
plans purchased from afabonline.com. The steel ran about $175.00. The
plywood and jack probably another $65.00. I got lucky and have a friend
that is a welder. I'll keep you guys posted. It seems pretty sturdy.
Supposedly holds 1000+ pounds.
Thanks for any answers to my questions.
I think I'm getting a '69 Ambo tonight, so Ill have a bunch more
questions.
Thanks again,
Frank

Ian,
Hoping to have another listing for your informal records. I,ll
find
out in an hour or so if I have a '69 Ambo to add to my '73 Eldo, or
not.
Wish me luck.

Hi Frank,

I believe there is a web site out there that has a listing for the

 Loops.

I have been keeping an informal record of all the Loops out there
and would
like to add you (and anyone else that hasn't sent me the info) to
my
 list. I
would like serial number, name (yours :-)), and location.

And finally.....send a pic of your bike to Dave Otis so he can
post
 the pic
on his web site.

Regards...Ian
