If you mean the event, it will be the 80th anniversary at the factory in
Mandello del Lario, sixty miles north of Milan on the eastern shore of Lake
Como on the weekend of September 29/30. The town has maybe 8,000 residents
(?) and will be invaded by probably 10,000 rabid Guzzisti. I was there for
the 75th and it was a hoot. Lodging locally is now impossible unless you
want to sleep wall to wall in the park as many do. You'll probably have to
go to Lecco or Milan for a hotel and train it every day.
If you mean the airfare, just go to ual.com or orbits.com and try to fly to
MXP the Milan airport in the suburb of Malpensa. The airfare war is on.
