Hi Joe,
I haven't done it (yet), but using the Loopframe front cover on the later engine
along with the adapter from Teo Lammers is the way to go. No frame alteration
necessary, very sanitary - hard to tell from stock. There was a "950 Eldorado"
at the WNY Rally and it was set up just this way. I've got pictures on a CD ROM,
I'll give it to Dave Otis to put on his website. Cheers,
Charlie

I'm looking at a pic of a V7 Sport right now and it apears that the front mounting bolt passes through the engine's timing cover. If the Loop frame timing cover were fitted to the Tonti engine, wouldn't the front engine mount line up in the loop frame? Sorry I didn't run into any of you guys at VMD. I did find the Guzzi Club tent and relaxed in the shade with a cool drink and home made cookies. Next year I'll be more prepared-this was my first time and was somewhat delerious due to sensory overload! _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer athttp://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp |
