I have an all original 73' police model. The floorboard tubes are
installed first, the crash bars last. Of course I'm at work and going
from memory.=20

I am looking for information about floorboard and crashbar=20
installation. Which of these should be bolted to the frame first? I=20
assumed that the crashbars should be put on first, but when I put the=20
left side police style crashbar on the bike, the front of the left side=20
floorboard tube will not clear the part of the crashbar on which the=20
large sidestand bolts, unless I file away some metal.
Any help would be appreciated.
