I just sent my old crash bars and fender supports to Mark at Moto Guzzi
Classics and he sent me some rechromed ones back. Really good prices from
him too. The rechromed ones look great, better than original to me.

Never had any experience with this, so before I haul a bunch of stuff to my
local plating shop, can someone with experience tell me what if anything I
should be cautious of when dealing with plating shops. I assume there can be
varied qualities/processes. Also, has anyone found that it is better to
just buy new, crash bars, grab bars, etc rather than re-chrome?
Thanks,
Tim
