I agree, do it yourself (maybe that will be Keithself).
If you have a disc brake front end, the shaft nut torque will vary, and be
very light. I lift the front end, then using locktite blue on the nut, I
tighten it untill the wheel stops spinning (after having spun the wheel of
course). I then back off 1/8 turn and rap the shaft on the other end to
free the wheel. Then tighten the pinch bolts to 80 or so lbs/ft (I don't
torque mine...just put the mojo on 'em). Drum front and Rear axle nut is
108-130 lbs/ft and the pinch bolt is mojo'd as well.
hope this helps.

I would just take the wheels in on their own and have them fit the new
tires. Then have Keith ( volunteering your services here) help you tighten
them.

Hey everyone. I've been a member for a while, but this is my first
message for the board. I have a '74 Eldo Police (Pictures to come), and
live across the street from Keith Ruff. I'm having the local shop (non
Guzzi) put a set of tires on. They're purchased (Conti Blitzes), but
they won't do the work without the "Torque Specifications" for putting
the wheels back on. Can someone give me the specs. Can't find it in my
book, and the suggestion of "tight" (works for me) isn't good enough for
this guy. Any help would be appreciated.
