Check you local laws first.
In many places if it hasn't been registered for a number of years it is
pretty easy to get a new title.

Kev, I'll check the valve clearances this weekend.

Paul, You must have been satisfied with the title company? Think I'll
try it out if you recommend it.

Scott, I'm near Humboldt in NC Iowa. Where the $#%& is Glenwood? I've
heard of it but never been there. I met a guy from Klemme with a pretty
nice Eldorado at the Harley top fuel drags in Humboldt this weekend.
I'll probably be riding down to Baxter Cycle August 12- are you going?

Thanks for the advice guys. Ed.

 Ed,
yeh, the valves can get pretty loud, but I would still check the lash on

right, I,m horrible with remembering specs. Someone want to comfirm
that?

Hi people. Here is the frame & engine number off my 1973 Eldorado:
58186. It is a civilian model, single front drum brake. My other
Guzzi,

a 1974 Police (I believe) Eldorado, has number 61372 on eng and frame.
The PO of this bike got tired of paying $15/year license so he junked
the title, a very dumb move because this bike is really quite a nice
one. So now I am looking for a way to get a title. I would prefer to
buy

a titled 73/74 Eldorado frame for it, anyone know where I can get a
reasonably priced frame w/title?
My '73, new to me, is running great and I'm really enjoying it. Do
most

of these old Guzzi's have a "ringing" coming from the heads at
cruising

speeds? Or are they supposed to be quiet like a Cadillac?

Ed in Iowa- former bikes: R100/S, FLH, Z1, TR6R, Shovelhead chopper.
