I have factory police bars on my Ambassador. They work great. On my EV I
put a
set of Harpers bar backs. What a pain to install.
The cables are too short, but not by much, so I rerouted them out of the
looms,
the right side chrome cover on the steering head will not fit anymore. But
they
do make riding much more comfortable.

Been thinking about raising the LAPD handlebars (still have the stock

some creative bending, I can get the handlebar supports to work with
risers since the attach to the top of the handlebar clamps.=20

The only risers I've been able to locate for Guzzi's is a set for $100
from
Harper's(<http://www.harpermotoguzzi.com/handlebar_risers.htm>http://www.har

The risers replace the 7/8" tube type handlebar clamp-cap and will rise
the bars up 3/4" and back 3/4" ".=A0 Anyone tried them out?

Or should I be looking for another method to relieve the pain?
