It was an alternator used in place of the generator. It was very slick and I would like to try and do this on my bike. The alternator I believe was from a Geo Metro. I'm not sure of the year but when I called the local auto parts place here in Canada (eh?) they quoted me on an alternator for a 3 cylinder Metro...year 1996. Does anyone have some info on this that they can add? Do I have the right year?...the right engine? I know nothing about Geo's. I believe the company is Nipo Denso (sp?) I would like to have the right info before I call the scrap yards. By the way...if I buy one new it will cost me $187.45 cdn.....over $100 usd. I would pay it though if it worked. With 35 amps of power I'll be able to light up :-) Much appreciated....Ian ============================================================ Stretch your dollars.
