I like 'em a lot. The Cheng Shin # is C180. Like Tim said, great on a
wide variety of roads, gravel and dirt. Is it better than the Dunlop
K70? I think so. Dunlop is 4 ply rated and the Cheng is 6ply rated for
one.

The Cheng Shins I use are identical 4.00 x 18's. I use them partly for nostalgic reasons. The K70 Dunlop that the CS copies, was very popular when I had my first Guzzi, in 1970. Everybody used them as a good all-round tire for street or dirt roads. As I was adventurous, dual-sporting my Ambo wasn't uncommon. Given the "tiller" effect of the front steering, you could honk down a dirt road at a pretty good clip. Tim Crump |
