Hey Rich
Just saw your bike on D Otis page. Very Nice.
I agree with your noise observation, especially riding it after the Gold
Wing (my other ride).
I am still putting my head down to listen to the valve train on both sides
to see if I hear too much clanging when I am running at low speeds.
I can say, for some reason, after going a short distance at low speed, I
want to crank the throttle open and hear the carbs moan.
Yes, these old guys seem to run better when pushed a little bit.
I'm digging it!

These noises are all audible trolling around town at low speeds. Second, The bike does not like trolling around town as all the above noises go away and the bike transforms itself into a smooth mile eating machine at between 75-80 on the highway. It reeaalllly likes anything over 70 ;-). In conclusion it's just best to ride the (fill in the blank with your own choice of words) off/out of it Am I on base here? ;-) Rich ============================================================ My Topica holds the key to optimum email health.
