Bike sounds like a honey. Good luck with it.
I see an add every month in the MGNOC newsletter.
I believe $10 for the moto guzzi name and eagle. A decal
Are you a member? If not I can look up and send the guys contact info.
Its good to join in any case. Frank Wedge who heads it has been a MG head
for years and probably can answer your questions about originality also.
Another option is to call Harper's

I don't know if the battery covers (side covers) are original because they are chrome. The bike has chrome fenders that I think are original, making it a '73 police GT. I was wanting to know where should I go to research what is and isn't original on the bike. I would like to make the bike as close to as original as possible. The bike also does not have any emblems, Eagles or Moto Guzzi, on it except on the back of the seat. I believe the seat is also original. I would like to know where I might be able to find some decent artwork on the internet so I can possibly produce some silk screens.
