Keith,
If you have locks on your toolboxes they are the same key as the fork. The
toolbox is easy to open once removed from the bike. Just drive the hinge
pin out and take the lock to a quality locksmith. With the key info that
Ian posted they should be able to make a key to match and then you will
have the fork lock key as well. Make sure they know you want a key for that
lock and NOT that lock re-keyed. If it is re-keyed the new key will not fit
the fork lock and that is the whole idea!

Greetings, Searched through the archives for this topic, found some stuff but never a resolution. I do not have a key to my fork lock, but would like to get it working if it doesn't require major effort. What can I do to get a key to fit and work in this lock? Or should I not bother? What type of lock do y'all use if I don't use the steering lock? Would like to drive the Ambo to work, but don't want to leave her unprotected. Thanx, Keith Ruff 71 Police Amabassador - NJ |
