The after market clamps that I got from MG Cycle were two pieces of curved metal. Both the same and the look like the letter "m" or "w". I believe the original clamps had a solid top. So they looked like an "m" but with metal coming flat across the top. It wasn't a bent piece of metal...rather a cast piece of aluminum. OK...I think I failed at explanations.... it's late here.
