Tom,
He doesn't have a fuel line cross over and forgets to turn the left petcock
on? How about the vent on the gas cap is blocked?
Can't be the coil...both cylinders would have quit. Plug wasn't wet so it
aint fouling. The bike is starting up so you are getting spark initially.
Maybe the plug wire is coming off?
I'm all a quiver waiting for the answer :-)
Regards...Ian

Subject: Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?
Ok guys, it's time to play the Loopframe version of "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?". I went out with my friend Gary today on the inaugural ride for his recently ressurected Eldorado. I was on my V50, he was on the Eldo. About 8 miles into our journey (3 of them freeway) his bike starts running on the right cylinder only. (Sounds like a familiar story for this group!) We pulled over, changed his left plug, which did not appear to be fouled, and were once again on our way. We rode about another 2 miles and stopped for gas. We rode another 15 miles and stopped for raincoats. Then we rode another 30 miles and once again his bike starts running on only the right jug and then dies. Although I already know what was wrong with the machine, lets make it fun and see if any of you can guess what the problem was before I reveal the secret.
