Dennis Kirk has a shock spring compressor tool in their print catalog - item
#28-697, cost is $29.99. I've never tried one, but looks like it should work
well. If you factor in your labor cost (time) and materials it might be cheaper
to buy than build. Just a thought. Cheers,

Didn't know they attached at the top. Will probably have to make a spring compressor...I can't find one small enough to get between the coils. Chris in NC '74 Eldo Civ.
