Rich,
No problem from me, I won't start anything. I am just trying to learn how
to get better at fixing my own Guzzi. I know a few things but I always take
suggestions from other Guzzi Pen Pals and think them through a bit and try
them out. Thanks, Bob

Obviously 90 weight gear oil |
do but I think you could use any solvent type liquid to get a rough estimate. You want good tolerances but they are not race bikes (don't |
me on that one ;-)) Rich ---------- From: Robert Hawkes [SMTP:haw-@frontiernet.net] Sent: Tuesday, February 20, 2001 11:15 AM To: Loopfram-@topica.com Subject: Re: Wish my Ducati motor was this easy to work on. Rich, Your leak down test sounds great. Can you use any kind of spray or do you have to use carb cleaner? Can you use any liquid like gasoline; just drip it on there and see if it seeps through? Just wondering because I just lapped my valves and I really don't know if the tolerances are close enough.
