Thanks for the info....the information that one can get through this list is
truly amazing. I think that if we put our collective heads together we could
build a rocket ship :-)
I know what you mean about the fuse block in the headlight bucket. I have a
nicely melted example in my old parts drawer.
Since much of the melting does occur through the headlight part of the fuse
block I was wondering if it would make sense to power the headlight directly
from the battery and have the switch run through a relay? I did that with
the ignition switch and have yet to have trouble with melting ..as well as
made sure that the connections were tight with lots of dielectric grease in
the connections.
I like your idea of soldering the connectors too...

There is one huge disadvantage to using 12 gauge for everything and that is that the size of your wiring harness will border on enormous....... |
