Never had that problem with my loopframe, but I get it every year on my Le
Mans. I clean up the connections & coat with silicone grease, but it doesn't
seem to make any difference.

problem with the fuse holders becoming periodically non-conductive? It seems like once, sometimes twice a year I have to go into the headlight and clean the pointed fuse ends and holders, because something (usually |
headlight, but sometimes the signals, horn or ignition) has quit working. The components don't appear "corroded" per se, just lightly tarnished. Usually just twisting the appropriate fuse in its socket will temporarily cure the problem, but the fuse has to be removed and the holders scraped with a pick or similar sharp object to achieve a (relatively) long term solution. Spring tension on the fuse holders seems to be good and tight, I don't |
that's the problem. If anyone else has experienced this, please advise as |
how you handle it. It isn't a serious problem, but it can be inconvenient, and annoying.
