If you have Dellorto carbs, the mixture (idle)screw should be 1 1/2 to 2
turns out. The needle usually is set in the middle groove. 45/145 jets
are a good starting point...make sure the jets are in their proper places (a
145 idle jet doesn't work well and will foul a plug very quickly...ask how I
know ;)
Make sure your cables have enough free play and the slides lift at the same
time. Warm the bike up as best as you can before doing final adjustments.
