Tom,

Definatley the right motor! I saw your bike at the National and I have to
say that the engine looked awesome in the frame. The square rocker covers
seem to fit the bike pefectly.

The bikes are definately undervalued and, as you have said, they will remain
that way until the stocks dry up...which appears to be happening. When I
first got hooked on the Loops I saw lots of them for sale in the price range
of $1000-$1500. Now try and find one for less that $2000. Check out Harper's
ad in the next newlsetter and you will see what I mean.

Regards...Ian

Well all I can say is that it is one of the three motorcycles I have owned
2x, the others being ducati 900's and triumph bonnevilles. I have an eldo
with a cal 3 engine ala mgclassics. I have been offered 11k for it and
turned it down. In my never-so-humble opinion, these bikes are severely
undervalued and that will continue as long as many remain for the taking.
72 doesn't sound old to some of us but now that they are approaching being
30 years old, its time to snag one while they are cheap. They just keep
running and thats a two edged sword. Anyhow, mine is usually good for a
free italian meal just for parking it outside certain eating establishments
and earns its keep with the oohs and aahs it brings. Wherever a loopframe
is parked, it usually draws a crowd. I'd say its magic. I still want
another triumph of the 79-81 vintage if anyone knows of one.
