I have seen ads for new amals for around 125 each from Shavano Performance
(210-493-4081), with free shipping or British USA (713-944-7951)offers new
Amals for 129.95. Messing around with Brit bikes for years, I have found
out the only way to fix a worn Amal is to replace it. Being that the price
on them has dropped in the last few years it is cheaper to replace it than
to resleeve it and buy new slides.

Eric, or anyone else, where did you get the amal's resleeved? I'm |
yea I would be interested too. When I was putting my 74 Eldo back |
I got an Amal rebuild kit from a friend who runs an brit bike shop, and
requested new slides. He indicated that he had never had any luck with new
slides in old carbs and so I retained the worn slides, the bike still runs
good so just left them in.
