I'd sa don't cut the dash. Some flat stock, a six pack and a friendly welder
and you could have a set that workw without any hacking of expensive cast
alimunum bits.

I'm gonna need them for now while I sort out the brackets I'm gonna make.
Another thought....how about using some car window weather stripping or cut
vacuum line to make a spacer to put the dash on?
