I assume it needs to be replaced. I want to tackle it myself but I like to work from some info/ experience/ drawings etc, so I dont screw anything up when I dig into it. I have the shop manual and Guzziology and the Tips book from MGNOC but they dont give much detail about the front end. I did see in the Tips book, a diagram of a tool to pull the fork tubes back up during re-assembly. I'm going to make one of those. Is there a exploded veiw or a diagram of the front end anywhere on the web scanned in? I especailly want to know where the seals are so I dont damage them. Any tips or suggestions how to get the bearings off and then new pressed on? Thanks a lot Pete 71 ambassador ___________________________________________________________ T O P I C Ahttp://www.topica.com/t/17 Newsletters, Tips and Discussions on Your Favorite Topics |
