Actually probably should be Guzzi mio. I has the erratic tach. Check and cleaned the points. Spot on at .016. Tach wires were reversed, however. Tach is much better, but still seems underdamed when changing engine speed. Holds steady when at constant speed but wanders when speed is changing. Is this normal? Installed my homebuilt turnsignal switch. Looks and works fine. The bike rides much better, and has a lot more power than originally. Kinda pulls you back with the second gar roll on. Feel like it'd like to wheely. I suspect I have high performance top end--the compression tester read 180#! Triva quiz: What part of the Eldorado uses US threads? Whitworth? I think I'm going to like this bike!! Eric Lamberts ew-@unr.edu Reno, Nevada USA '99 Suzuki SV650, '72 Norton Interstate, '77 Triumph Bonneville Silver Jubilee, '73 Moto Guzzi Eldorado, '76 Suzuki RE5, '84 Yamaha RZ350, '84 Yamaha SR500, '66 Suzuki X6. Buncha other stuff. R6 soon? US thread--Turn signal stalks. Also the screws that hold the snuffbox switches on. Whitworth--the spark plug of course... ___________________________________________________________ T O P I C A The Email You Want.http://www.topica.com/t/16 Newsletters, Tips and Discussions on Your Favorite Topics |
