Hey All,
OK....here is the business proposal of a lifetime.
Being a Canadian I can travel to Cuba with no restricions. Anybody out
there
want to fund my trip to Cuba to pick up some old Loopframes for them? I'll ship them here to Canada and then into the states without restricions. Of course...I will only travel between December and April :-)
I didn't know that the Cuban government used MG's as police bikes. Anyone have additional info on that?
Regards....Ian
I have a 74 Eldo LAPD and live in central Florida. I don't know how many times I have had older guys who grew up in Cuba tell me about the Guzzi's the Cuban police use. From what I have heard there are a lot of old Guzzi's down there, along with every model of antique car & bike imaginable. I ran into one old Cuban biker and he told me about how they used turned down Alfa Romero pistons for their Panheads because they can not get parts for HD's. If they ever open Cuba up I am sure it will be a cool place to visit until all the collectors head down there and buy up everything. I imagine you can pick up a studabaker or flathead Ford
cheep
down there.
