It even gets more fun! Three times I have been stopped by strangers who look at the bike who were from Italy. My favorite was an elderly man who walked past as I was loading on some grocieries. He paused, walked back and asked "Is that a Honda?" No, I say. It's a Moto Guzzi!
I'll never forget the look on his face! He put his hands together in a praying kind of pose and started in...(heavy Italian accent) "Oh! Moto Guzzi!(proper hand jestering here) Moto Guzzi isa da best motorcycle!! The polisa use thema back home. They are a so quite, that they sneaka up on you.! Oh, I love-a the Moto Guzzi" And on and on. We talked for a short while about the Guzzi and where he was from in Italy.
We shook hands, and I waved as I rode off. He waved back, with a big smile on his face.
