Good point. I was relating what I read in Guzziology on the subject of carb
balancing.
I wonder if Dave feels that the difference in the idle speed is so slight
that there is no need to re check the balance. After all....the mixture is a
fine adjustment. I know that on my bike, as I adjust the mixture the rpm's
don't change all that much....just runs smoother.
Just the same. Not a bad idea to balance the carb once everyting is set.

If you balance the carbs first, then adjust the mixture which as you say will increase the idle speed you now have un-balanced carbs again. I'd go the other way round. cookie |
