Good point. I was relating what I read in Guzziology on the subject of carb
balancing.
I wonder if Dave feels that the difference in the idle speed is so slight
that there is no need to re check the balance. After all....the mixture is a
fine adjustment. I know that on my bike, as I adjust the mixture the rpm's
don't change all that much....just runs smoother.
Just the same. Not a bad idea to balance the carb once everyting is set.

| If you balance the carbs first, then adjust the mixture which as you say will increase the idle speed you now have un-balanced carbs again. I'd go the other way round. cookie |
