hi- check/clean/adjust the points. if the condenser[on the side of the
dist.] is old, replace it. i think the real culprit is the coil, tho. if
there's nothing obvious, like loose wires,bad points, etc. for $15.00 at the
local auto-jobber, you can pick up a general motors-type ign. coil [the one
w/3amps. internal resistor] and you should be good to go. oh, look your
dist. cap over carefully for cracks. good luck-
