So, even though they are for a disc brake the tubes are the same as drum
brake models? I thought the disc brake models had cartridges instead of
dampers?

I got new fork tubes for my disk brake Eldo from Forking by Frank and I was very satisfied by the product and the service. I originally made the mistake of ordering T-3 style tubes because the front end of my bike resembled it. Wrong! The tubes are the same as the Eldo/Ambo ones but I only discovered this 10 months after ordering them. Forking by Frank was happy to correct my error and they did not even charge me for shipping. Good deal. The front end is now together with new dampers and seals and it feels good albeit with a ton of stiction due to the double seals in each leg. I plan to replace the rear shocks with Konis if I can get them but the 25 year old stockers I found in the box still seem to have damping and they look real nice. According to Ian Falloon's book only 350 disk brake Eldos were imported into the U.S. so they are rare birds. Given that some of the pieces of the disk front end are in common with other models a zealous parts picker/machinist could come up with a conversion by making the bits that are rare/unavailable.
