Hi Mike,
I believe that this was the norm for the early 700's. When they went to the
12xxx and above serial numbers (Ambos and Eldos)....the engine and frame
numbers matched.
By the way...can you give me your serial numbers again? I have your 700
listed as #1780. Was that the engine or the frame. And the second bike??
