Ian,
my 69 Ambassador, manuf DEC 68, has a VIN plate on the steering head and
also is stamped onto the steering head beside it. The bike was titled as a
1970 Ambassador. Maybe it was added.....? By the way, do you have the S/N of
my Eldorado?
