Hi Tim,
Is the problem on both cylinders or just one? Both cylinders would indicate
an electrical problem. Sorry but I am no expert when it comes to condensors.
I once found a piece of fluff (yup.....from a Cottonwood tree) in one of the
little jet holes of the carb. It was restricting the flow.....but just on
one cylinder. Make sure those carbs are nice and clean.
Good luck....Ian
I was on my way to a rally on my Eldo, when my bike started to cut out, and would not run smoothly without backing off the throttle. It seemed to be a problem at sustained speeds, but not a factor at revs below 3500. I checked the fuel supply/filters/banjo screens and they were fine. Could this be a weak condensor, if so how can I check it? Again, the problem started rather suddenly, and now is common with any cruising speed or higher revs. Any other suggestions?
