Finally got around to retorquing the heads and most of the other stuff on my to do
list. The cylinder gaskets had sacked quite a bit as have the intake manifold gaskets, but everything else looked great. Plugs were burning a nice light brown, point gap hadn't closed up, timing was still spot on. Looks sharp with the polished rocker covers. Took it out for a short 46 mile test loop and it runs even better now, but there's still a little low-end softness
I attribute to the chilly (45 F) temps. Weatherman says temps in the mid 60s tomorrow, so I'm going riding!
