Hi Mike,
It is my understanding from talking with various suppliers that
Gilardoni manufactures the kits in batches. X number of Ambo, X number
of Eldo, etc. according to what they sold the previous batch. They are
also the o.e. supplier to a number of companies (including Guzzi), so
kits for the aftermarket are probably of secondary importance. If the
kit you need isn't available now, wait a few months and it likely will
be again.
Carl Lucci of Winchester Motorsports has always had a nice selection of
Guzzis in stock (sometimes even a Loop). In general he's been very
supportive of Guzzi - he takes them to several shows and rallies each
year (including the VA Rally and British & European Classic M/C Day).
He's been fair and helpful in all the dealings I've had with him. Wish I
had known you were in my area, would have been good to see you again.

Why is that? I hadn't heard about that. I stopped in at the Winchester, VA guzzi dealer this week and they had 7 guzzis on the floor, 2 750's, 2 sporty things, 2 cali types, and a discounted cali demo. It was nice to see so many guzzis in stock! -Mike (69 ambo, 77 vert) M.Jones, associate editor, Journal for the Study of Religions and Ideologies (http://hiphi.ubbcluj.ro/JSRI/) "The heart has its reasons which reason does not know." -Blaise Pascal "With man, instinct and reason avoid each other with adversity, yet, by repudiating each other they lure each other to reach mutual correction." -Lucian Blaga __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
