Chrome is completely flawless with exception to about 3/4 inch of shadowing, or duller chrome on the bottom of the cylinder wall. And about 1/8 inch on the top part. Piston is grubbed up on top, valves are black as Hades too, and the rings have some goop on them, but loose. None of them are bound. Now, how long will the chrome last if it is not peeling, but has some shadow on it? And should I bother yanking the other side, or is this fairly indicative of both cylinders? Any info appreciated.
