sight unseen, 3k is not a bad price for an eldo with disc front
end...even if you gotta put $600 wortha top end in it, and if it's
relatively clean, with just minor cosmetic issues, sounds like a decent
price.

I currently have a 1973 V7 Sport, but am circling an Eldo at this time and anticipate needing a bit of advice as I move forward. It has 25k miles, front disc, but needs some work to put in on the road. Heads are off with a stuck piston. I would put a set of Gilardonis on it if I bought it. It would be a fairly straightforward resto, because it is very complete. I am arguing price. He wants 3k which seems a bit high to me. I hope we come to an agreement, because I think the Eldo is an great bike and would love to take on the project.
