Hi Rob,
Yea, that was Corntown on Creamsicle; talked to him yesterday
about it. He said that he got another regulator from the auto parts
store but it didn't fix his problem. Back at camp one of the guys
brought along a charger so he left camp for home Sunday with his battery
topped off. He stopped by a Home Depot in Columbus & bought a lawn
tractor battery as a spare to use if the original battery went dead on
his ride back to Indy. He was happy to report that he made it the whole
235 miles on the original batery & was still able to start the bike once
home with the starter. Of course, he made the ride without his headlight
being on.

When I was at Mid-Ohio I spoke to a guy who was having a charging issue, I think it was on the Dreamcycle(?) Anyway, just curious if things worked out, if the new regulator did the trick, etc. Thanks, Rob |
