Yes, many great stories. Check out his seat, Patrick. I believe you'll
recognize it. Paul was complaining about having to basically sit on the
frame rails because the pan of his other seat was so rotted. I knew I
kept that comfortable but (to my eyes) ugly Corbin around for some
reason, and this was apparently it. He has it on long-term loan.

Also, please look over his bike for him, if you have a minute. He has
no mechanical aptitude or skill, and the folks who worked on it in
Holland made some mistakes (plus he's added his own to the mix). I
spent several days working on it, and finally had to say, "no mas."

I'd love to host, Patrick...but I'm afraid Tampa is a little out of the
way :> At least you loopers on the west coast get to hear some
interesting stories.

Paul, the wandering Dutchman has arrived in the SF Bay Area. He
called
earlier this evening. He's a journalist, riding a Guzzi loopframe

Go seehttp://www.guzzigalore.nl/log/index.php

It is mostly in Dutch, but you can wade through it. I went out to
fetch

him in Berkely and guide him home here to Fremont . He has dined and
showered and now sleeping.

We will be doing a San Francisco tour by car on Friday. Need the car
so

we can chat.

We will be doing a similar photo loop on Saturday so he can get his
bike

in various panoramic shots if the fog lifts.

Probably try for dinner at Rickenbachers in SF on Saturday, early
evening, 6:00ish.

Probably try for Alice's on Sunday morning, 10:00ish.

Call me if you'd like to meet him or if you wish to participate in the
hosting hospitality. 510-520-5021

I think he will depart Monday morning for his run down the coastal
highway 1 toward Los Angeles.

Funny introduction. When we first met earlier this evening in
Berkeley,

he showed me a rather familiar Guzzi custom seat. It was the two-up
Corbin bucket that was on my 73 Eldo when I sold it to Greg Field.
Greg

was nice enough to provide him with the improved seating when he
passed
through Seattle. His butt is soooooo happy.
