OK, I found him! Just got off a phone chat with him.
Paul van Hooff is a Dutch Travel Journalist riding a loopframe Guzzi
from Prudhoe Bay Alaska down to Patagonia at the tip of South America.
As of today, July 5 he has reached Seattle at Moto International getting
his valves adjusted a few other things. I expect him to reach the San
Francisco Bay area in 10 days or so. I've offered him lodging,
guidance, full support as necessary in this region.
Note to Mark E: He has leaking front fork seals. He has the seals.
I'll be sending him to you to get them replaced.
Anyone else care to follow along or contribute assistance and companionship?
His website is:
http://www.guzzigalore.nl/log/index.php
You can see many pictures from his journey so far. From the home page,
scroll down to James W. Dalton and select "Lees verder" which means
'read further'. Within the blog you will see lots of red hyperlinks to
tour photos.
hyperlinks to other features will be in red text.
You can write info into the running blog. Its mostly in Dutch, but you
can add English as well. To send him a message, look at the first blog
entry and select "Lees verder" which means 'read further'. Scroll to
the bottom to find a message entry area. Your name and e-mail entries
will be obvious. The message text will go in the "reactie" area. After
completing the message, select "Plaats Reactie" to send your message to him.
