Hi Greg,
Just up the road in Lexington there is a "Hampton Inn"
that is actually an old estate. A bit pricier than the
stuff in Buena Vista (100 bucks a night maybe?). Stayed
there once after coming down from the BRP in a t-storm
with a female rider along. Welcome respite. Added
advantage of walking distance to restaurants, etc. in
town.

Up the road towards the BRP on US60 is the Buena Vista Motel. Just north, off I-81 on US11, are several of the large chains. Stayed at the Super8 one year and awoke to the clatter of about a dozen big diesel dually pickups idling in the parking lot. Some sort of event that weekend at the nearby equestrian center - gotta' have them big rigs to pull big trailers! I'll hopefully be on "Sophia" (if she behaves). Still sorting out a few problems unrelated to the recently completed cylinderectemy. My buddy Joseph should be there too on his MZ Saxon Tour. See you there! Greg Bender wrote:
