hey,

Now after taking a gander at Rich's bike, I'm seriously considering
doing something differant other than putting the bike back to "stock",
nothing involving altering anything like the frame, but things like the
fenders, ect., just more of a quick swap/fix thing.
I would like to put a set of clubman bars/clipons, ect. Anyone have any
insight on how this would work? Sources? I wonder if I can borrow the
set off the buffalo? hmm.

Anyways its a start... The wheels are turning...so to speak.

I just this week replaced the police bars on the Eldo with a set of
cut-down scrambler bars that had been on my BSA Firebird. They work
very well and JUST miss the fuel tank when turning. Makes it feel like
a different bike, and very easy to handle even though much less
leverage.

Now I'm looking for a dual seat to replace the sprung police solo saddle
that's on there. I'll keep all the police stuff so it'll stay with the
bike so it can be made original.

Anybody have a dual seat to sell? I'd like one with a good pan so I
don't have to do any surgery. I gotta call'ed Mark E. already but he
has his own plans whenever he gets his hot hands on a dual seat, so I'm
thrown back on your parts stashes.

I've tried (A) A Harley police solo, it was a bun-burner (B) A Hang-Two
dual-bucket seat, it forced me too far forward (C) the sprung police
solo with a Teutonic QSL solo behind, but the police solo sits so high
that the passenger is looking at the middle of the pilot's back, so that
attempt didn't work.

so a stock seat's next. Nothing on eBay. MG sells 'em, but if I can
get one with a good pan I'll let Rich Maund or one of the seat guys have
a go at it....
